27 January (KNO) : Senior Hurriyat leader and Chairman Islamic Political Party JK Mohammad Yousuf Naqash while strongly condemning yet another cold blooded murder of two Shopian Youths Javid Ahmad Bhat and Suhail Ahmad besides injuring dozens by occupation forces has said that way our people regardless of age and gender are targeted and killed mercilessly speaks volumes about the nefarious intentions of India viz a viz Kashmir and its people. India has given its forces clear license to kill and oppress Kashmiri people in a bid to crush their popular sentiment of Freedom and silence their voices supporting the sentiment but this ongoing movement cherished by blood and innumerable supreme sacrifices crushed by killing and oppressing people. India needs to read the writing on the wall that people of Kashmir are struggling and sacrificing their everything in perpetuity for achieving their inalienable Right to Self Determination deprived to them so far. Naqash while paying rich tributes to the Kupwara martyrs who were mercilessly massacred by occupation forces when they indiscriminately fired upon civilians without any provocation leaving 27 dead and hundreds injured on the fateful day of 27th January 1994.The said gruesome massacre is one among the thousands of massacres and incidents of oppression and brutalities perpetrated by Indian forces in the nook and corner of Jammu Kashmir to maintain India’s hold against the wishes and aspirations of the people. These massacres and varying incidents of oppression haunt the people of this unfortunate territory and increase the pain and agony with every passing day.(KNO)
